![]() Just a thought how many 2.litre cars wil be going to Germany? Another thought mate for the safty factor. Have your 255 hard wired should keep you safer. Not expensive eighther. Untill you go 044 & swirl at a later date. ![]() |

Making me wonder if I need an oil cooler - How much are the kits guys and where does the oil filter go?

Just another belt and braces really mate.
Got mine from RCM. Total cost for the kit was £522.90 (£425.75 +vat) The only extras for me was the cold air feed hose, The trumpet came in with the price. |

if you buy one dont buy cheap as a faulure will take your engine and would not think you would want a repeat of last year.

The hoses are a work of art - FPR ![]() Oil cooler (not that clear but stew did a fantastic job of not cutting anything and angling it in ![]() the finished article ![]() So far its very smooth and clearly powerful....its so good to have it back! |

I did about 750 miles on the running in oil, before moving to fully synth 10-50 and starting to give it more boost/throttle. I was running 0.5 bar and 3.5K rev limit but used lot's of overrun as advised by JGM to bed rings properly up to the oil change. After the oil change it was 'normal' service resumed by the map still had a 0.8 bar boost limit and a 5K rev limit until the syvecs was fitted.
