Mate I've researched and trust me if we are unfortunate to have problems with existing conditions it will cost a fortune.
I have good cover free with my Lloyds account, I then gave them all my history which put an £18 premium on it. Your not going in my boot, your too fookin heavy |

You have to deflect the head light beam so it does not blind on coming drivers. You can buy the kits from Halfords. Or all you need is some black insulating tape and stick in the right position on the light. ps Still waiting for a call

Got pretty much all my bits sorted and ready to take - anybody taking tools, I have a small kit and a larger kit, if nobody else is taking anything I'll take the larger kit.
I'll also have a 12v pump with me. Anybody know if ScoobySi still wants to borrow an extinguisher from me?

This might seem like a couple of stupid questions but, the gb sticker, is it the one on the number plate or the big one for the boot? And what are headlight beam deflectors?
#71
If you have a GB badge on the number plate then you don't need one for the boot
Beam deflectors alter the headlamp beam the other way for continental driving so not to dazzle other drivers

lol, no thats no good, in the UK the headlight beam aims to the the left, when driving on the continent that would dazzle the other drivers, so beam deflectors alter the beam so not to

Ive driven on the other side many times but never in Europe.
The US & Canada are crazy slow places to drives You can go on a red light when turning right, if a yellow school bus stops on your side of 4 lanes over on the right you MUST stop when they stop. All kids in Canada are taught that whenever the leave a bus it's safe to cross the road. I spent more time looking for yellow buses than women ! |
#85
You will find the roads and drivers generally better than over here.
The lane discipline over there is so much better, if you are overtaking then you drive in the outside lane when you're not you drive in the near side, simples. If only people drove like that here, instead of thinking: I am doing the speed limit and so should you no you're not coming past me. Its strange at first driving on the right especially roundabouts and left turns.
