Default manufacturers warranty

as you guys no i now have a mitsubishi turbo and intend to do some lite mods on it. 2 get it to 300 bhp/300torque.

evo x bump valve
evo x intercooler and uicp/licp
3"pipe cat back exhaust
panel filter.
and a remap, also evo x brembos brakes (will need modding 2 fit)

but because it has the tc-sst gearbox in it,ive got to find a tuner that no about these.because there £10,000 to replace.

so wot i want to no,do independent garages turn a blindeye 2 mods if done right,to cover warranty. as the maindealers say if i do any mods warranty is void.

I think you may find that if something like the gearbox went with a replacement cost of £10k, the main dealer would want to look at it rather than just send a replacement part to a third party garage, assuming the warranty is throguh Mitsi. The problem is that anything involving more power will generally invalidate your warranty, particularly with remaps etc. I ended up waiting until mine was out of warranty before mapping etc.
