Ive found a company in Eastbourne that have quoted a fantastic price to respray the front of my car and blend in back to the front doors, getting rid of stone chips and a small amount of bubbling on one of the wings near a headlight
Are there any questions regarding how many coats of paint and lacquer there should be? Etc etc Is there an industry minimum? |

when spraying met paint,it takes as many coats as it takes to cover and then blend out or till it looks right.as for lacquer i put 4 to 5 coats on but i do flat and polish the paint up.hope this helps you.tangowayne.

I wouldn't use anyone that quotes a 'fantastic price' paintwork costs what it costs.
BW or DC coachworks in Hastings BW have done alot of work for Nige years ago when he ran Hot Hatch and also done some very good work on Rob's brothers Porsche's and Wez's scoob. DC done a good job on 'E's but you will pay more at DC then BW (as I think he can be persuaded to do a cash job). Both are 200 yds from one another so worth popping into both. |

DC Coachworks are very good but may not be the cheapest, they are obviously competitive.
Ive always believed you only gets what you pay for. ![]()
