Default Door problems

I noticed yesterday that my drivers side rear door was not locking or unlocking on remote key or even with key in door. It only locks from inside manually. Has anyone else had this problem is it easy to fix. Cheers

It could be the rod thats dropped off the lock, take the door card off (3 screws) & have a look to see if anything has come off.

It's the panel that covers the metal part of the door.

Mine has started to do the same thing. Remote works when it wants an when I put the key in there is a lot of resistance. I gonna try a new battery in the key first then take the mechanism apart to see if it's greased up properly and that everything moving as it should. I'll let you know how it goes.

With mine the remote works fine its just that 1 door that is not working. Still sets the alarm on that door but just won't lock and unlock. Its not really a mofor issue just keep it locked but would rather it was working as it should

yes, its that panel. thats called the door card or door trim.

this pic is from a classic impreza so its probably a bit different, but look here.
when you take that panel off, the lock and metal rods in that pic are within the door. you will probably find one end of one of the rods has come lose.

I would suggest you take the door card off, then operate the central locking and see what moves and what doesnt

Cheers thanks for that. When I use the remote I can hear all the other doors working but no sound at all from the door thats not working. I'm thinking that even tho its not locking I would still hear something. I'm hoping its not a module as they are expensive
