Default Hints for putting engine back in
Just a quick one guys and this is aimed at the people whom have put an engine in a scoob while the gearbox is still in the car.

A few weekends back we fitted the gearbox back into the car and tomoz I am going to bolt the engine back in, with the gearbox where it is.

Is there any tips or things to avoid doing, any advice would be great.

It's not to bad a job you might need to lift the gearbox up at the front and just line the input shaft up with the spindles on the clutch other than that a simple job

Couple of weeks mate , fingers crossed I have to order some goodridge sleeving and fluids then sort fuel system out.

My mechanic took mine out and refitted it without touching the gearbox and only about 1.5hrs each way

Cool mate must be awesome if he didn't touch the gearbox aS the engine is connected to the gearbox....... P.s I think I know what you mean , it was my first attempt so I think it went okay

Wow and hour for it to be all in and bolted up is real good.. I took me 3 hours to take the engine out on my own, and 2 hours to put back in also on my own..
