Had a classic on an 05 plate, when dvla loose the paperwork when you register them they stick it on whatever the current plate is. Guessing that's what's happened there

Not sure on the UK rear lights though, would make me think something's happened to the rear of it possibly, looks really quite nice though

i suspect its been registered at "year of import" rather than year of manufacture.............

another thing which happens (but unlikely here) is that if a car sits in a compound unsold it will be registered as "new" at date of purchase........
