Default SC36 or SC38 Info

Whats the general verdict on performance and capability of the scoobyclinic SC36 & 38 and are they based on a TD ?

Scoobyclinics site just refer's to a Scoobynet thread with over 100 pages. I don't intend reading it, especially as most posts are likley to be BHP bragging entries for the larger turbo's.

Would like to swap out the VF28 for something a touch bigger, but only aiming for a few more horse, from a turbo that's not going to have it's kneck rung.

Any info on these SC's appreciated.

they all seem to produce more power than they are aimed at it seems. ie sc36 is aimed at 360 but makes more etc

When I sent my sc50 to turbo dynamics for a once over they said it wasn't as good a quality as others they've seen (there wasnt anything wrong with it) but they also said it should do the trick. Enginetuner use them all the time and sing there praises

Hi Scott

SC36 is based on 16G and using their Blouch/SC Billet wheel and their exhaust housing(7CM) and as SC38 is based on 18G and using Blouch/SC Billet wheel and their exhaust housing(7CM)

Both turbo making power which has been intended to do so,you can buy Blouch 16XTR from USA for less than SC36

How about the MDX555s direct from Turbo Dynamics?

I may be able to find a home for your VF28 if I've still got the car

A lad I know has got 408bhp out of his sc380. Other than that they seem to get good results, not seen anyone grumble about them. That's from what I've read of the 110+ pages on SN!

I've got an SC36 on mine and love it... Changed from a VF34 and to be honest there is not much between them from my experience.
