Default Front brakes

Just been on Godspeed website looking at full front brake set up for my classic and do you think £312.50 delivered is a good price for 4 pot calipers , grooved discs , pads and fitting kit .

This a picture of the kit

I've got exactly that set up and impressed so far but not really pushed them yet. Make sure it is a set of refurbished genuine subaru calipers (preferably with stainless pistons) and not the aftermarket copies, think they're embossed with WRX PRO or similar. He should be able to do you a good price on a set of braided brake lines as well.

I was looking at them but they retail at £550 just for 335mm big disc conversion with pads but no calipers so I will get the other set for now but still wanting to go with 6 or 8 pots big brake conversion with ksport for next year got a lot of plans in my head ready for next year .

The new 4 pots that Godspeed sells are the WRX PRO embossed calipers, not the genuine Subaru ones. Not sure if they are any worse or better than refurbed genuine calipers though....

The prices of Brembos have dropped with everyone braking them now. Ive seen full front set ups for £400.

I bought the WRX Pro calipers, discs and pads and had them on my facelift. They were as good as the Subaru 4 pots for sure. Bit of a pain having WRX pro written on them though. If you wanted to, it wouldn't be too difficult to grind the embossed bit back, paint them and get some of the decals off ebay.

I think I've just found the problem for some strange reason I've no brake fluid in the pot so I'm going put fresh brake fluid in bleed the brakes get the wife to press the brake pedal while I'm under the car to see if the brake pipes are leaking anywhere and take it from there .

Brakes now sorted still going to 4 pots or I might just save enough and just go straight for 6 or 8 pot big brake conversion .
