Both the car and the driver appear to have come off pretty bad.

Incidents involving impaling are rarely good!

Hope the guy is okay.

I can imagine if you go wrong on that road it could be pretty unforgiving, assuming it to be the part I am thinking of. Used to have a client down there and go through on the way to/from Goodwood.

one of the very few charitys worth donating to..kent air ambulance!! bloody amazing bit of kit.

I know a few people who owe their lives to air ambulances (Devon and Cornwall in their cases).

Not sure I have such a bleak view of charities as you though, as I think there are many worthwhile causes... probably slightly biased though as I work with quite a few!

maybe because i have seen them at work.... and see what good they do,and alot of the other charitys are all behind closed doors... not convinced that all money donated gets where it should thou to be honest, with some organisations.

Having worked in the charity sector for most of my working life (not anymore! ) i have to agree.....
