Welcome

If you want a 2005 blobeye then you'll be looking for a black one, as they didn't make this shape in the dark blue.

The dark blue mica was only on classics and the bugeyes (2000-2002)

Default thanks

Thanks very much but as mu Mrs doesn't understand that even though it's been well maintained she will only see the high mileage and will probably go ballistic if I spend my money on a car with over 90k. Women don't understand these things. But thank you anyway

You're well located once you do get a car sorted.

Surrey Subaru Specialists are in Camberley. Dan looks after both our Subarus and I can thoroughly recommend him.

My wife drives a black 2005 WRX wagon. Nice car indeed.

All the ones? I've never seen a dark blue blobeye, whether WRX or STI.

I might have misunderstood - by dark blue, are you referring to this colour?

Or the colour in my avatar which is the standard WR blue (colour code 02C).

No mate not even blob STI's came in dark blue. I think you have seen either earlier bug eye like this..,
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407930075.354696.jpg

or the WRC blue blob like this perhaps?
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407930275.036008.jpg

Could have been a custom dark blue but I've not seen any custom paint jobs in dark blue, the ones I've seen have been interesting colours like orange and the JGM lime green

Good luck with your search mate...you'll need patience but it's well worth it

A second Dan as Surrey scoobies, great guy and service.

Yes I like the bottom wrc blue that's perfect
Yes one of the reasons for wanting a blobeye scooby was because Surrey subaru is 5 mins from my house and I've heard nothing but good things from them

Well if you are looking for a blue or a black you should have a pretty good choice and be able to find one with the mileage you want. Just bear in mind that a well looked after higher mileage car is as good as a lower mileage uncared for one. By the time they hit a few years old most have had the essential bits changed or upgraded anyway.

To confirm for you the colours available for a 2005 WRX or STI are WR Blue, and Obsidian Black, Silver, Crystal Grey, Red and white.

Good luck with the search, all part of the fun.
