Nice! Gotta love shiny new parts, when are you getting it fitted? Have you still got the standard system at the moment?

Being fitted 25th April and yes standard at moment besides a backbox which was on the car when I got it.
It's also having its up-pipe fitted - all my silicone hoses, 3 port boost solenoid, updated fuel pump, and dump valve and then I'm waiting on Duncan to confirm re-map date of 22nd may

I've got the same back box but in 2 1/2", don't expect to be passing any noise limits on track days with a full system.

Should be an easy 330 when it's mapped.

Nice Quality Cobra.
Quite loud though if no other cats or silencers fitted. That's why I sold mine to Red Baron.
Hopefully the sports-cat will mute it a touch.

So you should be expecting a big difference in noise then. Once everything is sorted as you have mentioned you are going to have a very decent motor on your hands!

As you can see, the Cobra silencer is a lot smaller than the Prodrive one in both diameter and length.

Brother made 331 on his with a similar spec, he had standard sti up pipe and a full decat.

Quite a difference in size, can see why it's on the noisy side of the scale!

Agreed
Out of you ring / track bods - is the noise limit 95 decibels? Thought I read it somewhere?
Dave didn't you day you were 1 decibel under?

Yes, but its not enforced unless you rev your car silly at the entrance barrier. There are no drive-by sound sensors on the ring to check for noise at speed.

Most of us would fail a 95db noise test but never a problem if you're quiet by the barriers/in the car park.
