Default sell the car!! or break her!! best option??

hi guys and girls.
i want to know if it would be best to sell my car as whole (easier option) or break her (more fun option) to make the most money

its a 2005 blob wrx cat d (rear end side smash in 2008)
49000 miles
fsh (receipts for almost everything)
mot dec 12
tax nov 12 but will add 6 month if sell car whole
body work in average condition

Modifications
vf 34 turbo (brand new)
sti pink injectors (brand new)
walbro fuel pump (brand new)
k&n cold air feed induction kit (brand new)
sti top mount intercooler
decat down and up pipe
2 exhaust silencers (3 inch miltec and 5 inch afterburner raptor)
hks ssqv dump valve
between 320 and 340 bhp but have no dyno to prove this

18 inch rota alloys
sti brembos all round
braided brake lines
sti spolier, bonnet scoop and front bumper spats
tein lowering springs
mud flaps

sti interior (seats and steering wheel)
Prosport defi gauges (boost and oil temp)
kenwood cd/dvd/garmin sat nav

the car does need both rear wheel bearings changed, and the gearbox is possibly about to go, as it clunked in third gear the other day.

i am after a late blob standard sti now, so if i do break her, i would keep some bits lol

let me know all opinions please people.
thanks sam

If you brake it loads of bits will go quick but others like the shell etc won't shift so quickly

Hi Sam

Problem will be for few buyers its Cat D,sadly which means this will affect the price

Probably worth to do some research on this and have look for how much you can sell bits, just you must have room where to everything store

Wish you best of luck there

If its a cat d your get way more breaking , get a buyer for long block and gearbox then break it . The shell keep for a month or so then weigh it in as no one seems to buy . Your either lucky or not . All the other bits interior , bumpers , boot , bonnet & lights will go quick enough .
Good luck which ever way you go

I agree above break it and eBay just make sure if posting stuff off get the delivery prices right or u be out of pocket there but with engine and gearbox do it as collect and put a reserve as well that helps so u get what u want for it instead of going to cheap at the end of the day we can all surgest things but its u that can decide what's better for u

Make a list of bits you know will go at the right price, add it all up and go from there. Brake will go as a set, or split front and rears. Boot and spoilers fetch a fair bit...etc etc
