Default Im back

Well after blowing up my gearbox in the Scoob i kind of stopped sulking and got off my arse and brought a run around so i can start saving for my gearbox and all the other stuff i want to do with my scoob.. So i brought a golf mk4 diesel for a bargin £1500, it just had a oil leak, all panels are dead straight... Well impressed, it has climate control ac and all the usual stuff.. Plus coilovers which i only found out the other day!!!.... Ow and best of all i get 550-600 miles to a full tank..

Good to see you're back, and with a plan!

I've been toying with the idea of a more economical day-to-day drive and, if I go that way, I'm definately thinking diesel Golf.

That looks a really tidy runabout!

Good job and enjoy the infrequent visits to the petrol stations (I manage a month of commuting from a full tank in my diesel!)
